The ship is now a thriving new home, covered in corals and teeming with marine life. I spotted giant groupers hiding from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers hiding here in the superstructure. That feeling of gliding alongside this giant, silent structure is hard to describe—haunting, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule under the water.
